Mother's Day Skyping photos and May 13, 2013
Sorry, I spent the whole day looking for a football so, I don’t have time to write. But, I love you all and HAPPPPPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!
Your plans for your birthday sound AWESOME! I miss Salt Lake. Whenever I see a photo of the temple, in the Liahona or whatever, my heart skips a beat a little. I miss downtown. I miss the temple. I´m so happy I decided to take out my endownments there. The temple is so great.
How does Jello work?
What is Thunder?
SOOOOOOOOO MANY MIRACLES here! I love J´s mom. After chatting with you on Sunday, we knew that we´d need to go to work to keep our minds busy. So we went to R´s house. (She is J’s mom. The one that didn’t want him to become a member) Such an amazing lesson. We had no idea what we were saying. To our natural women, it sounded so weird. But then I noticed how strong the spirit was. The spirit was teaching the lesson, not us. I had to actually look around to see if anyone was there. She told us her doubts. She loved her church she was in now. She was scared to pray about Joseph Smith because she didn´t want to change... she felt like it was too late for her, but was grateful J could find it when he did. My comp shared her conversion story. Her old church wasn´t bad, but there was something better. We bore powerful testimony. I told her that it wasn´t too late. That it was the exact perfect time for her. The age that we encounter the church is the perfect age. Sounds better in Spanish, haha.  She ended the lesson with a prayer and cried. She thanked the Lord for us. For sending us to her. We held each other in a hug for a moment. I told her she was like my mother here in Ciudad Colon.
We have transfers this week. I really don’t want to leave this area. I love it here. The San Jose Costa Rica mission isn’t known for it’s generosity of information.  We never ever know what’s going on. I probably wont know if I’m getting a new companion, transferring or staying until 10:30 the night before. We´ll see how it goes. (Pucker up)
LOVE IT HERE!
Love being a missionary.
Hug my brothers. Hug my grandfolks. Somebody hug my mom.
You´re all amazing!

P.S
Aunt Julie, you get a special shout out for being my most devoted fan. I hope you know how much I love you. This week I was thinking about our special trip to San Francisco, just us. How special I felt getting to spend an entire week with you. You are so wonderful. I hope you know how much our Heavenly Father loves you. I know that this life can be unkind. But I also know know that all that is unfair about this life will be made right. Some blessings come soon, some blessings come late. Some don´t come until heaven. But for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come! Hang in there. I love you!
Love,
Meg

P.S. MOM!! The Video! SO SO AWESOME! LOVED IT!
I look so chunky. Why did I wear that flesh colored shirt. Whoa. Natural woman talking just there.
What I meant to say is, what a talented mother I have. That video was so beautiful! I like it a lot! Hugs have become so precious to me here on the mish. I can´t hug people I want to. The hugs I can receive can be precious. The video captured the love really, really well. You´re amazing!
